Dr. Giangreco, or “Dr. G” as patients know him, is a native of Rochester who grew up in Irondequoit and attended Bishop Kearney High School. A college art major, he blends a unique artistic ability with orthodontic expertise to create the most beautiful smiles possible for his patients.
Dr. Giangreco received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University. He attended the University of Buffalo Dental School and completed masters-level orthodontic training at Northwestern University, where he graduated top of his class.
Dr. Giangreco lives in Webster with his wife, Tricia, and their two sons, Vincenzo and Domenic. Family time is a top priority along with providing quality orthodontic care for his patients. Dr. Giangreco enjoys golf and snow skiing. If you are an early riser, look for him waterskiing on Irondequoit Bay at daybreak.
Dr. Cassata is a native Rochesterian. After beginning her career as a dental hygienist she followed her father’s footsteps and joined him in private practice in 1991, eventually joining our practice in 2009.
Dr. Cassata attended the University of Buffalo Dental program, and then received her Orthodontic Certification from the Eastman Dental Center at the University of Rochester.
Awarded the Fonzi Humanitarian Award from the University of Buffalo. Published on the study of dental caries and enamel demineralization (cavities), and was a clinical instructor of Dental Hygiene at Monroe Community College.
Dr. Cassata and her husband, Ray, live in Canandaigua with their three sons Kyle, Justin and Tyler. When she isn’t creating beautiful smiles for patients, she spends quality time with her busy family. She also enjoys biking, gardening ,boating, canoeing and jet skiing.
Dr. Phillips grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. While spending her summers at the St. Lawrence River, she quickly fell in love with Upstate New York.
Dr. Phillips attended the University of Maryland where she majored in Biology and graduated with honors. She completed her dental education at the University of Pennsylvania, where she met her husband Steve. She graduated Valedictorian of her dental school class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. Dr. Phillips obtained her orthodontic certificate at Eastman Institute of Oral Health, and is currently on faculty as an orthodontic clinical instructor.
In her free time, Dr. Phillips enjoys reading, running, skiing, and the outdoors. She has a passion for traveling and is always looking for new hobbies.
Dr. Calnon is a native of Rochester, growing up in Spencerport. He is thrilled be able to give back to the community that has provided so much for him!
Dr. Calnon received his Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Geneseo. He attended the University of Buffalo to pursue his dental training. After graduation, Dr. Calnon pursued specialty training in Orthodontics at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health. While at the University of Rochester he also attained a Master’s degree in Dental Science.
In his spare time he enjoys running, golf, skiing, and being a loyal Buffalo and Syracuse sports fan.
Dr. Cortese is a native of Rochester, attending Aquinas Institute. In 1988, he was one of the first orthodontists in the greater Rochester area to become Board Certified, a step beyond the three years of advanced education required for a dentist to become a specialist in orthodontics. Only one third of all U.S. orthodontists are certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, making Dr. Cortese an invaluable addition to our team and patients.
After receiving his undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of Buffalo, Dr. Cortese completed a residency in the U.S. Army in Germany. He returned to Rochester to practice general dentistry for eight years before returning to Columbia University to receive his post-graduate degree in orthodontics in 1971.

Dr. Cortese is an outstanding athlete and extreme skier. He’s conquered glaciers in the Canadian Rockies for many years and the slopes of HoliMont in Ellicottville, New York, with his wife, Joann. He remains an avid golfer and is serving his second term on the Board of Governors at Oak Hill Country Club.

Our front desk team has over 60 years of dental and orthodontic experience combined. These talented staff members keep the administrative component of the Get it Straight team flowing smoothly. Whether they greet you by phone or at the entrance, our front office team is available for your scheduling needs as well as answers to your treatment and account concerns.
Our treatment coordinators have over 50 years of combined orthodontic experience. As treatment coordinators they oversee the new patient consultations and growth of patients prior to starting treatment. In addition Margo also manages the clinical supply inventory at Get It Straight Orthodontics.
They have over 35 combined years of orthodontic lab experience. As lab Technicians they fabricate the orthodontic appliances worn before, during and after braces.
Ensure that all of the necessary pre-treatment diagnostic radiographs and photographs are taken prior to treatment, which allow for the doctors to evaluate and finalize each patient’s individual treatment plan. They are also responsible for making sure that our hygienists and doctors stay on task, and that all of us here at Get It Straight are staying on time as best possible.
